December Fannish Frolics

The rules, such as they are, are extremely simple: we're looking for one fannish thing per day, every day in December. A little treat for all of us to enjoy. Any fannish thing: fic (of any length), art, vids, music, fanmixes, rec list, arts & crafts, etc. Seasonal themes are not especially required, nor are they forbidden. No pressure, no stress, just a bit of fannish fun.

Please pimp the community in your journals and in other communities (where it's allowed) so that we get some broader participation. I'd like to get signup commitments for at least half of December.

Comment with the day(s) in December you'd like to post something (you can post it here, or post a link here to your journal or website where it lives). You can sign up for more than one day if you wish. First come, first gets, so give a second-choice day as well. I'm hoping that at least half the days of December will be spoken for. The days that aren't reserved by anyone will be "free-for-all" days, and anyone can post. If you miss your appointed day, no worries, just post on one of the free-for-all days.

ETA:  for fic, WIPs are definitely allowed! Last year's fannish_advent is where Sealie's The Cooperative got its start, after all. Give us a chapter, a scene, a taste of your WIP masterpiece!

ETA2: since dates are going so fast (which is delightful!), "double booking" will go into effect once all the dates are filled. That is, once every date in December is covered, you also can sign up for a date that has already been "taken".

ETA3: Woohoo! Double-booking is now in effect! Heck, let's go wild and triple-book--if you just adore a particular date, who are we to keep you from it?
